To dream – To indulge in daydreams or fantasies about something greatly desired. This is something I have done for a long time now and it is and has been the same for many others. Dreams can be many and various and perhaps without them, there would be no hope of progress and a void in our very souls.
As of late, for many, the dream appears to be destroyed or if not, on the point of being so. If a dream is to indulge in daydreams or fantasies about something greatly desired, why give up on the first or subsequent hurdles. Surly if something is wanted bad enough, it is worth pursuing and fighting for.
Brexit has caused many problems in so many ways but it is not the end of the world or even a final decision at this point. Since the 24th June I have read a great deal on Brexit and much of this has been on various forums where contributions have been plenty and varied. There does however seem to be a notion by some that Brexit means the end for their dreams. This cannot be the case and to my mind, will not be the case if one is prepared to persevere in those dreams. It may become more difficult but surly not impossible.
I’ve created this particular post, simply because I too wondered about my future in Portugal and also, had doubts about there being one for a very short time. Now, I have come to the conclusion that my dream can and will become a long term reality and that in no way, am I going to be deterred in my ambitions of long. So all that read this and have their doubts. Remember, follow those dreams and see them through for if you don’t, you’ll forever wish you had.
