He's Off Again

This site came about because of a dream. It was a dream for a simpler life in a warmer climate, surrounded by nature and not the concrete jungle I had become accustomed to. For me, after much toil and determination, the dream finally became a reality, leading to a renewed and wonderful life in Portugal.

Discover How This Journey All Started

Where did this blog and story really begin? As so often the case, it started with a dream, a dream of a more relaxed way of life in retirement. It started well before my anticipated retirement age. Let that Useless Dog Die

It’s only a dog. Who cares? It’s a stray, with no home and no love. It deserves to be run over. The discomfort and obvious pain is not my concern or that of anyone else. Let it die, the useless creature. Portugal is a wonderful country but it has issues. One of them is the

Today is hobby day and photography is my hobby, or one of many. The day, Sunday 22nd April 2018, started wet and overcast and I decided to write a post about the blossom that shall be presented at some later time. Because the blossom is only on some trees, I decided to photograph what’s there now for the later post.
